Each stake has the herb's name cut from 16-gauge mild steel, with a petite but sturdy 1/8" stake welded to the back. These come to you straight off the table in all their rugged glory - heat marks and welding beads included! They will develop a beautiful rust patina over time if put straight to work. If rusty stuff isn't your jam, consider them a blank canvas coming to you ready to sand and paint just the way you want them!
